The Power of Bold, Engaging Web Content

Any intelligent person can put words on a website.

It doesn’t take a great deal of skill or specialized education to share information about your business, product, or service.   If the goal of your website is simply to share information and provide the basic details of your business, products, or services, you can probably do this on your own. 

However, if your goal is to grow your business by bringing in new customers, clients, or associates, you need more than decent web content. 

You need bold, engaging content that can emotionally connect with your website’s visitors and convert them into customers and clients, and for that you need someone who understands the power of words and how to use them to best serve your business, company, or project. 

You’ve experienced the power of words if you’ve ever:

        Grinned at a funny line while reading a book
        Put off going to bed in order to read ‘just one more page’
        Been inspired by an article in a magazine or online
        Laughed out loud in the theater over a witty one liner

I could go on and on, but you get the picture. 

Words have power.  They make you feel, think, wonder, and even act.  They inspire, convince, teach, and enlighten.  The right words in the right context can make you see things in a new light or even cause you to change your mind entirely.

This is why we use words. 



Choosing the right words to deliver your message can make all the difference in the world.

Where do these magic words come from? Who writes them?  Normal people like you and me.  Of course, as in any skill set, there are naturally talented people who write brilliantly without effort.  They put their fingers on the keys and perfect paragraphs flow easily onto the screen.  These people are not normal.  Most writing takes work, effort, and editing to reach the finished stage and most writers spend years of study in order to write these paragraphs.  You can’t be expected to do all of this AND run a successful business.your website may not have the emotional content of a best selling novel, but it does need to connect with your audience on an emotional level ..

It also needs to be easy to find….seo etc. even if you don’t include more than a few sentences per page, they need to be good sentences.  You need to take those few sentences and make them sparkle, make them shine.  Make them hit the reader where they care.

 You could learn the ins and outs of effective copywriting, study SEO, and ________.  But you don’t have to.

Any intelligent person can write decent website content that is easy to understand and conveys the information they want to share. 

Basically, anyone can write web copy.

With a little effort, they can even write good web copy.
